Other than slipping a few times on the ice, going around roundabouts, mainly, no.

We have a lot of new people in our area and let's admit it a lot of them don't know how to drive in the snow and ice slow down.

Absolutely, do not do this. It's ridiculous if you want to slow people down. Put in speed bumps but do not impede traffic and it looks disgusting. It looks stupid. You've already ruined enough streets in this town for bicyclers no more. Do no more use speed bumps if you want to slow people down
