I've had made homemade bags in the past so this makes close to 10 years that I've used my own. Get with the people use recycle bags, save our Earth

Do you understand a recent study shows bag bans are worse for the environment. Of course liberals hate facts.

Invited for this because we need to reduce our use of plastic. As a senior citizen, I have no problem remembering to take my own bags and they are much easier for my senior fingers to carry.

Time to phase-out single-use plastics. Besides, groceries always fall out on the drive home.

It is about time we begin taking care of the environment - or in the not too distant future, the earth won't be habitable.

I use the Winco bags from the valley and they are big and strong and only cost $1.59 each. Been reusing them for years.

It's love/hate 4 me. I believe in reducing plastic waste, but I never remember to bring my bags in with me, so it is a bit of an inconvenience. But I still support the movement. Just get used to it.

Absolutely no need for single use plastic bags. Use boxes like at G.O. or bring your own bag. Hate that ban was repealed until State ban comes in. Retailers are now stuck figuring out what to do

The grocery stores are paying for these bags and it increases the cost of groceries. Why bother at all with it if you can just bring your own?

Tired of liberals pushing their phony beliefs on others especially when it makes things worse. Liberal Berkleybstudies show bag bans are bad.

Taking away bags and making us pay to use the recycled ones. Not to mention the paper bags rip and all the groceries end up all over the parking lot

It is time for the city council to spend it's time on what is important for the city and quit wasting time and tax payer's money on issues the should be addressed by at state and level.

Plastic bags shouldn't be banned...the stores should continue to charge for them though...people, especially the elderly, need time to build muscle memory to remember to bring reusable bags.

A socialistic sly move without vote. Look into the mountains of commercial plastics that aren't recycled. Bags are a drop in the ocean in comparison. Check this out plasticparadisemovie.com

While I have no problem banning the plastics bags. What i really hate is the tax that was added to paper bags. That just added to every ones grocery bill.

Charging for them isn't a horrible idea, banning them is a step too far.

ODOT, and other state agencies need to live within a reasonable budget and the state needs to stop raising taxes!

ODOT Leadership is totally incompetent! They spend a billion dollars they don’t have and come to the taxpayers to bail them out. As far as increasing gas tax and registration fees we already pay.40 cents per gallon and our gas prices are $2 per gallon more than the rest of the country. No more mone!

We need a 'No Camp Zone ' radius around urban and sub urban areas and then have a few managed campsites within the new limit. Only 2 options. The risk to property owners and the option to live on the fringe is not right. Not a problem before 2020 and it's over time to get back to before.
