There is much we don't know yet, time will tell of course. My feeling is that it won't blow up on us. Over 30,000 people died world wide from the regular flu last year.

It's conceivable that once the virus hits Mexico, it will grow quickly, and then infections will spread rapidly across the open southern US border.
