I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.

Mayors should be elected. The whole rotating mayor debacle has been embarrassing for our city.

One person can be directly responsible for implementing their agenda and keep it on track instead of having to rotate every year.

ReplyI'm an essential worker who hasn't missed a day since the pandemic. I've had coworkers quit or refuse to come back due to being overcompensated while being unemployment. Some people choosing to not work (I'm not including people laid off) are making more money than me while I'm working! Not fair!
