We averaged 200-300 cases per day in the past two weeks, we should not stay red. We all want to go back to work or school, but we can't put others at this risk when our cases are still rising high..

The data shows increasing positive tests for covid. We need to limit people going out and doing non essential things like eating at a restaurant.

Because this virus is very real and you need to do your part and stay home to flatten a curve that should have already been flattened back in May. Step up people. Wear a mask and stay home.

Because as a frontline worker this is serious for every person regardless of age and businesses in this valley and residents refuse to take the minor necessary precautions

We have got to put safety first; especially for our hospital workers who have to deal with the increased COVID cases.

There are other solutions than shutdowns. It has not worked. Why have the formula that bumps up the ratio? The State/County is bankrupting businesses and families. Protect the vulnerable.

If people would just do like they say and wear a mask and social distance we would not be in this position. We need the small businesses to remain open.

We're all going to be jobless with not benefits from the state yet they are doing this to us. I'd rather work full time with a mask then become homeless with 2 kids.

As someone whose been traversing Palm since I was a kid, this wall does assist the primary problem which is a sand "white out" that very spot. But more needs to be done, planting of much more foliage and trees with a watering system would help. I am disappointed in this coverage, the wall is good!

Took an embarrassing long time to construct for such a pitiful result, does not help whatsoever for the continued issue of keeping the corridor open.

Money wasted; no change in road closures. The very next day after the wall was built, was a sandstorm & Gene Autry Rd was closed. The problem is further down the road…there’s no visibility, plus sand builds up causing the Gene Autry Rd closure, regardless of the new wall being built! -M McCarthy

I've lived here since 1961 and it's never been this bad...They took down the Tamarisk trees which helped and use to remove the sand.

Rotating minimizes the possibility of corruption which our city has experienced, its ashame that mayor walked away with nothing more than probation. lets not let it happen again.

YES. The system has been working just fine for several years now. Avoid any lawsuits and keep it this way.

I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.

Mayors should be elected. The whole rotating mayor debacle has been embarrassing for our city.

One person can be directly responsible for implementing their agenda and keep it on track instead of having to rotate every year.
