YES. The system has been working just fine for several years now. Avoid any lawsuits and keep it this way.

I have always thought voting a mayor is better than the rotation of a mayor. With the rotation, the mayor becomes only a spokesperson for the council The voters should elect based on the agenda of the mayor And it allows for consistency with staff.

Mayors should be elected. The whole rotating mayor debacle has been embarrassing for our city.

One person can be directly responsible for implementing their agenda and keep it on track instead of having to rotate every year.

During the hotter months, I keep my thermostat at 82 degrees, I always keep unused devices unplugged and unplug all unused power strips I wash clothes in the middle of the night. All my windows have solar screens and heat-blocking drapery. My roof is coated with white reflective material, etc.!
ReplyWe need to conserve in order to avoid a blackout. PLEASE turn off off any lights you are not using .
