I miss the old rivalries but wouldn't be in favor of it unless Mizzou came back with us

Why would we even consider going back to that unstable Texas driven conference! We are in a stable conference now and havev the opportunity to climb back into the who's who of college football with our new staff and current leadership. We need to ride this ship and see where it takes us now!

While I miss playing some of the remaining members and I will always recall the good 'ol days, the conference is no more stable today than it was when we left. As long as there is Texas, there will be instability.

B1G is a better fit for us and is a much stronger conference, leaving now would be like running away scared with our tail between our leg. No way, we're here to compete!

B1G is a fair conference where every university is heard and all members generally agree or agree to disagree without putting any one institution at a competitive disadvantage. The Big 12 will always have to contend with the fact that someday Texas may leave the conference.

A return to a very flawed conference will not bring back the Husker glory days. We need to stick with the strength of the Big 10 and adapt the program to once again perform at championship levels.

The money is better here and we don't have to deal with Texas or the other clowns that took Texas' side in all of those 11-1 votes. I feel a bit for the KU, KSU and ISU fans, but to hell with the Big XII.

What makes one think anything would be different if they did go back, wasn't the reason Nebraska changed to begin with was the way they were treated by the Texas schools? Besides, the academic standards are higher in the Big 10, after-all, isn't that the main reason of the college?

The academic respect, and big ten money are going to kepp us here forever. The good ole boys of Texas still control the Big 12, and we are done with that rodeo.

if you were married, and found out your better half was taking your money out of your savings, and trying to lie about it too, would you want them back?

At this point there is no reason to return. I personally don't care for the Big Ten in the first place or its teams. The security, finacial resources and their network make sense to stay.

I hated the big 12. They ended the OU vs NU rivalry by making it an every 2 yr gm. That's the biggest reason to leave &never look back

Texas still has way too much clout on conference decision making.

Big 10 brings more security. Big 12 is all about Texas. Why would we go back to that?

If Texas is wiped from the face of the Earth then very possibly 'YES'; otherwise, don't ask stupid poll questions like this.

We are so close to turning this ship around. The new coach hasn't even coached his first game and his recruiting class is better than any class Bo ever had. We should of made changes 2 years ago after the FU from Bo to the NEB fans. Win the Big 10 and your playing for a National Title!

Far too expensive. Special seating for the rich is not fair to the majority of season ticket holders.

I think it is good to slow down the project and wait until we starting wiinning as then demand will significantly increase. Also wait until the economy is doing better and interest costs decrease. To me it is being good financial stewards of the Atheltic Department finances. Phases are good.

because I thought that this may not be a good time to be spending that much, when we haven't even finished the last project. I think our AD will have to be able to read the money people, and the times. I thought that Trev A couldn't live with that.

Compensation has always been tied to market value. These athletes are worth far more than they're being compensated, and that's been the case for over a century. Hence, they've been ripped off. I support salary, salary cap, and education on how to invest it in 401k style accounts.

It has to fair across the board, from Fordham to Alabama. one monthly stipend for everyone, not just scholarship players. There has to be a limit on how many players all schools should abide by. Determine the national budget and every school must contribute.

They should be students and NOT professional athletes. If they want to get paid they can go pro. Personally, I believe they should cancel all sports in public schools and colleges though I love our Huskers.

Put myself through school in the 70's. They are getting for exchange of their athletic prowess what I had to work and save for. The two summers after high school I drove alfalfa trucks 12 hours a day 7 days a week. EARN IT!

They are compensated with room and board plus an education. The perks they get as athletes now are unbelievable!!!
