The Huskers haven't beaten an FBS team in nearly a full year. Will they break the skid vs. Indiana?

Unfortunately, the skers may not win again this year. They not be lookin too good. No offense but, enough of the dumb polls till they get better.
Reply ReplyAs of right now, the defense cannot stop anybody, the offense is absolutely anemic, team moral is in the toilet, we are on the road against an improved IU team. Outside of all that, I think we have a great shot.
Reply ReplyThe D-line for the Huskers will not be good enough to stop Indiana. The O-line will allow too many sacks.
Reply ReplyI have seen no evidence, given the lack of coaching so far, that this team can rise to the challenge.
Reply ReplyI think the team is lost even though MJ is the coach. It will be a reasonable effort, but ultimately, it will be a loss.
Reply Reply“Recruiting beats coaching”… true for skill positions, but not true for OL, DL, and LB positions. Very poor player development at NU and too late now that the season in underway. Wonder what Benhart would be like had he chose Iowa or Wisconsin.
Reply ReplyOur team has not tackled in practices for four years. No toughness. A great touch football team.
Reply ReplyThis team has been neglected for several years. Frost, it seems, spent more time on personal problems but was happy to take the salary. My gut feeling is he was trying to get fired BEFORE Oct 1st and he did everything he could to do that, including the onside kick.
Reply ReplyNo reason to start winning now. MJ seems like a great coach but you have a front line that does not want to protect the QB. They look like the basketball team with no will nor want. As Tom Kropp said when he chose Kearney St BB over UNL “they can make a good player bad”
Reply ReplyTeam not motivated and not playing with energy and enthusiasm. Need new coaches to motivate them.

Indiana nearly lost to IU & WKU and the W over Idaho wasn't that impressive. They allowed IU RB Chase Brown 199 yds and WKU RB Kye Robichaux 135 yds. Grant, Ervin, Johnson & Yant will have a big day and help keep the defense off the field.
ReplyMotivation by Mickey, simpler defense and a week of focus on individual technique will get the Huskers on track...IF there is any on-field leadership from the players.
ReplyHope springs eternal...
ReplyTrying to remain optimistic.
ReplyWith the shock of losing a head coach and DC behind them, they two weeks of refocus and reset will benefit this talented team and the Huskers will have new inspiration to win this next contest.
ReplyI believe in MJ enough that I do believe he will somehow have found a way to get this team ready to perform up to their capabilities. After the NW gm, SF said the guys needed something to believe in. They have to start with themselves. MJ will have em' believing!
ReplyIts the Huskers GO BIG RED
Replywhy not has to happen eventually
