I struggled with this decision. We have talent, but that hasn't been our problem recently. Execution, special teams and the O-line have been our Achille's heal (in that order). If we can improve in 2 of these areas, it should be enough to get us 7 wins.

I think our offense will score a lot more points than last year and the defense will shut more teams down on 3rd downs.

I think we may have to win one of the last four tough games to be bowl eligible.

Tough teams on the schedule, and Scott has not proven his coaching abilities as of yet.

My crystal ball is in the shop, but I really wanna say yes to this. He's a shoo-in for the Illini, but I gather that Glenn & Matt went hard in this visit. Hopefully, it was enough to convince him on Lincoln.

I do not care HOW the punting is done. Only that it leads to WINS.

If something is broken, what does it hurt to try something different. Insanity- Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

I like this style of punting. With the roll-out, it keeps the defense honest by keeping them in position in case of runs/throws by the punter.

Anything less than a drop kick just isn't trying. Additionally, NU had a punter who averaged 44 yards a kick and he had to transfer for a player to be named later. Maybe get the rugby guy in and set in place before upending what would have been a solid punting game.
