They gathered themselves together and fought back. Last year they would have folded and not come back to the fold after halftime.

We are so close just need to put 4 quarters together and play mistake/penalty free football

Makes no sense to panic after 3 games with a new coaching staff and new system. Our 2 losses come by way of a hail mary pass and an overtime loss. There are no teams on our conference schedule that we CANNOT beat. Keeping the faith!

Yes but they'll need help from other teams which I think they'll get if they win out.

I know this would be a tough year. Learning a new offency and defence takes more than a month's time. The fact that we are close in games is incurrageing .

They barely lost to teams that might be as good or better than those they'll face (throw in Pierson El and we're probably 3-0) and Riley is just beginning the journey.

The talent is there but the coach of the offense/head coach need to run the ball more and pass less. Let the run open up the defenses for the pass instead of the other way around, ie, 3rd & 1 and you pass the ball?????

They have been tested by two good teams and I think they can correct their penalties and the dropped balls at Miami were flukes

I'm a rational human being who doesn't abandon a coach's prospects for success because of losses to decent teams on a Hail Mary and a bad throw in overtime.

Team has looked good--very close to 3-0. I trust Riley, and the players have shown they can play well--it takes time to transition to a new system/coaching staff.

I am hopeful talent will show through inept coaching. Mostly OL philosophy. Our guys get tired- use some rotation. OL is one of our deepest areas.

You have determined the coaching is "inept" after three games? Riley et. al. have been around for quite a while, and been quite successful. How about you give them a chance to truly figure out their players and how to mesh with their system?

they just might limp across the finish line, but they will finish. the big prize is still there for the taking. you have a lot of experience in Riley's coach's, let's all take a deep breath and relax.

I think this team has talent. The coaching staff just needs to utilize this talent. But, I'm not optimistic that they will but hopeful.

Banker is to much like Cosgrove, he will be the downfall of Riley.

This year is a bust - adjustments to coaching, new offensive and defensive schemes. Just sit back, relax and watch the losses pile up. Adjust your expectations or it will be miserable. I see 3 wins - Illinois, Rutgers, and Purdue in the division. 5-7.

I'm hopeful that once this team "depelini's" that we'll see a somewhat disciplined team, but unfortunately that won't be for another year or two.

Iam begining to believe this was the wrong hire. I think Banker is one of the worst defensive coordinators I have ever seen and the offensive coordinator isn't much better.

WE ned a defensive coach who nows how o coach, and fortuntelythis one does NOT. OUR defense is weak, and we keep losingplayes o injury. Why. have never know a year his bad sinceI came to America 1969. Mst have somethin to do with the conditioning. Surely that is not bad s well as all ths other "stuf

We are out of our league. Defense is awful. I have always thought the Blackshirt thing, while good during the Devaney era, works against our team. Players get an inflated sense of their own ability when they "earn" the blackshirt it seems to me. When the D is special, hand out the blackshirts.

this team just isnt good enough to win 9 or 10 games to get the division they will definitely lose to wisconsin and MSU and probably drop a third straight to minnesota to make 2015 the worst year in husker football since the callahan era

Bo was so arrogant he thought he could coach up defense with any kid. He didn't think he had to recruit special kids for his scheme.

Finally Nebraska sport writers are taking off their rose glasses and viewing the Line issues which has been growing (girth not strength) since Solich days when I saw the first fat lineman.

Dana Holgorson doesn't know what a run first offense is. I love the aggressive nature of his offenses but we will NEVER be great without being run first. Run first and then air raid.

If we hadn't lost to Michigan I would have felt it was a one off. The lack of adjustments looks like a coaching issue with multiple coaches offense and defense. The offensive line is pathetic and needs an upgrade.

I feel it ease worries a LITTLE bit. I think he has already talked to his friend Pat, AD at Penn State, and was told that Penn State Alumni want someone more proven than Rhule. So, Rhule is way down the list.
