These businesses that agree could still turn their video over to police so what's the big deal.

I agree, but the government putting in their own cameras stinks of a Police State. The government could then pick and choose who they want to prosecute. Currently they prosecute, sentence, and then parole, all in one operation. That doesn't curb crime either.

Policy doesn't define crime, that's the job of legislature. Businesses set up what level of agreeance they have to law enforcement accessing cameras through FUSUS. Trust comes from the community side as well; stop believing the "police are bogeyman all the time" fairytale.

No because if they accepted the Fusus video system, businesses that aren't for it could choose to opt out of the program.

The businesses that are for the Fusus video system would not have to worry if the accepted the Fusus video system

It is the leading story on most of major news sites. It was all a made up game with a predetermined conclusion. How many dems/republicans are laughing and patting themselves on the back this morning telling each other 'Same time next year?'

Don't care one way or another, nor do those making the decisions in Congress, as they still are getting a paycheck.

Defund all welfare programs. Make people responsible for their own actions.

SNAP is primarily funded by the U.S. federal government through congressional appropriations, with the USDA providing the funds, and states administering the program and covering their share of administrative costs.

Trump won this. SCOTUS ruled in favor of Trump.

Trump basically has no say in this, it's on the shoulders of Congress. Might want to study what all the 111th Congress did back in 2009-11... this is all about payback.

Its all a game both sides are playing with real people in the middle. Trump should step aside and tell congress this mess is all theirs.
