These businesses that agree could still turn their video over to police so what's the big deal.

The big deal is now the police have to go to the business, ask if they have a camera, ask if the video captured any evidence, and ask to get a copy of the video instead of just watching the video from the comfort of their office saving lots of valuable staff time that they don't have much of.

I agree, but the government putting in their own cameras stinks of a Police State. The government could then pick and choose who they want to prosecute. Currently they prosecute, sentence, and then parole, all in one operation. That doesn't curb crime either.

Policy doesn't define crime, that's the job of legislature. Businesses set up what level of agreeance they have to law enforcement accessing cameras through FUSUS. Trust comes from the community side as well; stop believing the "police are bogeyman all the time" fairytale.

No because if they accepted the Fusus video system, businesses that aren't for it could choose to opt out of the program.

The businesses that are for the Fusus video system would not have to worry if the accepted the Fusus video system

UM athletics is an arm of govt. they do not earn anything. That Univ produces nothing but obnoxious computer geeks who get jobs for state govt agencies like the DOT spending their days synchronizing traffic lights that nobody understands like the asburgers nerd we have in my hometown up here in NWMO

so what are you going to do about it? Just sit there and complain online or are you going to actually do something to put a stop to this we are here in my hometown. We are filing complaints against any state employee we can think of who graduated from this university: REVOKE THEIR DEGREES!!!

Would you like the name and number of a state employee who is a graduate of this university? Who continues to support this athletic program? Would you join our effort to remove him from state employment for being a UM grad?

MU Athletics makes their money the hard way - they earn it.

Like most drivers, I have one hand holding my fast food, other hand holding my cell phone, a knee on the steering wheel, and rarely look up from my cell phone so I don't know if other drivers are so irresponsible to be driving distracted or not. I certainly don't drive distracted, that's bad. FJB

Many time ppl are seen looking/using phone while driving crossing the line on the road or having to slam on their brakes so they don't hit the car in front of them.
