I have plenty of reason to criticize the Patriots. It's fine if you want to suspend Brady, but then let's suspend Aaron Rodgers more games because he definitively stated he over-inflates balls to get a better grip. Is that okay with everyone?

Please... NFL Rulebook has a 25K fine for "tampering with game balls." Anybody who thinks Brady will be suspended for anything more than 1 game is fucking fooling themselves.

ReplyThe people stating that Rodgers over-inflates balls so he should be suspended too are forgetting one key fact. When he does it, it is BEFORE the referee inspects the balls. Once the refs inspect the balls, it's their responsibility to make sure they're within the legal PSI. The Pats did it AFTER.
ReplyIf he's directing footballs to be deflated, even if he wasn't aware of how much it was or what the limits are, he has penalties to pay. 2-4 games would be reasonable.

ReplyBrady's lack of cooperation with his phone/calls/texts and the investigation. No one was ever going to jail or tried by a judge, "pleading the fifth" and purposely hindering an internal investigation by the NFL & Union should carry atleast 1-4 game suspension on it's own.
