We have been fortunate enough to have had a COVID free household until this variant. It spreads too quickly. My 9 yr old daughter got it from school though I never recieved noticed of contact with a confirmed case though it was confirmed. Now my whole family is getting it a couple days apart.

I had Delta in early November and Omicron seems more like a normal cold for those I know who have had it,

Because the last 2 years have been a joke. Other than over-reaching government, unnecessary mandates and irresponsible media I would not have known any difference between Covid and the flu season. The numbers have been exaggerated since the beginning.

My mom is 84 she got it , I did not, but just basic cold symptoms is all, no big deal. Wake up people look at the #'s Oregon 9,600 cases and 35 deaths, most if not all for the Delta variant. Omicron spread s easily but is so mild! So tired of the fear mongers! I live by faith not by fear!!!

No but I just had a thought. If you could give covid to some you wanted to kill, you would not have to worry about, being convicted of shooting them. They would say they died from covid!

Yes, the Omicron is nothing more than a cold, so tired of the lame fear mongering and 60% or so over inflated hospitalization # Look at the numbers 8,000 plus case and 13 deaths and half of those were likely admitted for something else but then tested positive in the hospital. Time to shut up & live

I see someone is claiming that 12,000 children have died of COVID. This is false and statements like this are harmful because some fools out there will believe this tripe. The actual pediatric deaths as of 1/12/2022 are 841 according to the CDC. Look it up if you doubt me.

Kids don't always survive Covid, and even those who do can spread it to anyone they are near while infectious. Omicron affects kids much more than previous variants and Covid will continue to mutate. Too many people will die until enough Americans take it seriously.

because face book is nothing but a left wing propaganda site and pushes democratic policies. All the while silencing the conservative party views. face book and twitter should not have the prop 25 protections period. Its a social site not journalist.
