Basketball games feel like more luck to me. You can’t always control if the shot will go in, only put yourself in the best position. Football feels like more skill. 🏈

If the university can make money off their stardom, why shouldn't they be entitled to money made by their name/talent/actions/fame?

Sure as long as they are required to keep there grades to at least a B average and pay there tuition.

Universities and Athletic Departments make millions on the backs of athletes. Those same athletes are not allowed to have a job while participating in college athletics (at least at the NCAA level).

I do think that with the amount of money be made by colleges, coaches ,etc that the athletes should have additional compensation. Having said that, a lot of thought will have to go in to the process

College athletes are held to higher standards than those receiving full ride academic scholarships. In being a student-athlete they should be compensated for both. Especially as influencers.
