It shows friends and family that we were thinking about them on our journey. It also brings back memories of prior adventures.

I buy magnets with pictures of the places we visit. With many kids, grands & greats there are always photos, etc. to exhibit on our fridge.

Souvenirs are touchstones that transport me back to when and where and with whom I bought them. I encourage everyone to not only bring back souvenirs, but to display them around the house.

My "thing" is to grab a magnet for my fridge to remind myself that there is more than WORK in life.

YES! We love to travel and expecially to cruise. I love getting a magnet everywhere I go (I have a large board I put them on) sometimes a tshirt or sweatshirt, I love finding nativities from unique places that we go, and anything else that's native to the places we go.

The souvenirs have to be made in the country I'm visiting, something I can use or give as a gift, small enough to fit in my suitcase, and not too heavy.

We live in Northern Michigan so we can get out whenever the weather prohibits.

We live in Utah and there's so much to do here. With the world's best snow, deserts, Zion Natl. Park, Arches, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon at our border, sand dunes, lakes, rivers, wide open grasslands, hikes, The worlds largest open mine which is insane to see, etc, it's hard not to be outdoorsy!

I don't like the outdoors so I avoid it as much possible.

I really need to get out more. I've become quite sedentary since retirement due to some health issues, but I always feel better if I force myself to get out. I need to try harder.
