I am an instructor of information technology and cybersecurity. I feel there is value in this tool when used ethically and by experts who can use what is generated with an understanding of the risks. I better know if the code it generates is correct and secure.

AI is dangerous, very vulnerable to Misinformation and just spitting it back out. AI is NOT creative, real writers are creative. AI just re-arranges the factoids available to it. Teachers are alarmed that papers submitted by students might not be their work, just ChatGTP garbage.

We need to use our own brains, our own creativity, we are relying on everything else to do the work for us, making us lazy and less useful. Therefore, Outdating ourselves, outdating people in general. Pretty soon people will be not needed because there are AIs to do the work in place of us!

Just another form of cheating. If you are not smart enough to write your own papers, you are not qualified for the job.

Not everyone is physically able to vote in person, but all eligible voters have a right to have their votes count.
