He's already wiped out millions of oil & gas jobs & has forced us to be energy dependent on our adversaries for gas and oil. Which will skyrocket gas prices on an already struggling economy & millions of people who will pay higher taxes on financially supporting other countries, instead of Americans

Switched to YouTube from Cable like it so much better because of what we normally watch is programmed for us.

I'd say it's like 60/40 in favor of things like user generated content, but it has more to do with time than anything else. Due to things like work and chores, I just don't have time during the day for movies/TV. But for a few hours in the evening, I tend to watch more movies/TV, which I prefer.

This is one of those where I'm voting the honest truth, even though I'd prefer it be the other (while still making time for Geekvolution, of course). I think it's because of how casually I can spend hours on YouTube, as opposed to being intentional about catching up on content I intend to consume.

I still have a cable subscription mainly for sports. I will say that I watch things I DVR more versus flipping around stations like I used to.

The streaming apps have been a game changer for me so I still sit in front of the tv and watch series and movies.

I vote for my favorite actors and awards also give me an idea of what I want to watch. Other than that winners don't matter to me.

I agree with you except I have to say when Jamie Lee Curtis won best supporting actress OMG I went completely crazy that right there is what makes me watch awards shows AND now these damn huge studios what don't they get without a script an idea there's no films tv to be made forget reality

Award shows are nothing more than self promotion of themselves. And act like self advertising. Like advertising, the less advertising the less popularity.

The award shows once mattered. Since they have become so much more than a few once or twice a year but rather at least a 100, all with varying degrees of actual criteria beyond marketing campaigns and now the over-compensating “inclusive,” nature of certain categories going out of their way
