40K?!?!? Its more than enough. GORSH, I'd say just giving them a cheese sandwich is enough. If you send your children into the care of another, you do not love your children.

Teachers have to go through so much just to get certifications and are now vilified more than ever. Its a thankless job that's never gotten enough credit (and pay) it deserves.

The teachers work way too hard and deal with way too much much for the pay they get. They teach the children of what is going to be our future leaders and I want them to have the best possible education.

I'm a teacher. And Missouri's retirement system takes 14.5% off the top without permission. We work hard but we are hardly left with a living wage.

In 1989 the min teacher's salary for the state of MO was 18,000. Using an inflation calculator it would be approximately 43,500 today. Many teachers work 2nd or Summer jobs to supplement their salaries.

Is this question really needing to be asked? Really ? This is what society is reduced to? Paying football and baseball and a host of other sports players HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS PER GAME OF 3 OR 4 HOURS duration all the while paying first responders and K thru 12 educators pennies... Really?

Defund all welfare programs. Make people responsible for their own actions.

SNAP is primarily funded by the U.S. federal government through congressional appropriations, with the USDA providing the funds, and states administering the program and covering their share of administrative costs.

Trump won this. SCOTUS ruled in favor of Trump.

Trump basically has no say in this, it's on the shoulders of Congress. Might want to study what all the 111th Congress did back in 2009-11... this is all about payback.

Its all a game both sides are playing with real people in the middle. Trump should step aside and tell congress this mess is all theirs.
