Since political activist D.A.'s refuse to prosecute selective crimes anyway, and the fanatical socialist brownshirts constantly demand to de-fund the police, why waste more taxpayer dollars buying cameras that probably won't be used very much due to political scrutiny

People are more accountable when they’re being watched. What a person does when nobody is watching is vastly different from when there is some form of supervision.
