if he was unwilling to switch position to help the team, then leave. He's not a QB

We should still be able to win three games next season, so I see no reason for concern.

Fans like you are the reason people give up on this program. The defense will be exceptional and the offense has rising stars.

He came to us b/c we were one of the few to offer him as a QB. It's clear he's far from an elite QB so if he's not willing to play another position he'll either be a backup or a good D2/FCS QB. The only thing we lost is a few plays a game he would have been good for a QB draw or trick play.

Luke wasnt going to take Nebraska anywhere, i don't think AM is going to take NU anywhere either. Nebraska needs to get an accurate qb, i dont really care how mobile he is, if he's 18-20 yrs old then hes mobile enough.

L Mac is making a mistake and I think his father agrees. He is not a B1G QB but is an impact player on offense. He could have had a big role here. Good luck to him. And his brother.

When Vedral left Frost had to keep LM at QB for obvious reasons. While they used him sparingly in specialized roles they had to limit him for fear of injuring. It was just bad timing to try and move him to receiver until someone else was developed QB 2.

Wished he'd stay as a slot/WR guy. He's getting bad advice thinking he can be a top QB. I think he could be a top WR if given the opportunity. he'll probably be the next Tom Brady surprise QB. Follow your dream kid - that is all that matters. We'll be fine wtout him if we replace him well.

I really, really like him but numbers don't lie. 1 TD to 6 INTs. His skill set is what everyone is saying and his skill set would be great at Nebraska. Hope he finds this out with feedback from other schools and decides to change positions here at NU.

If he thinks he is the best, though his performance shows otherwise, then he should go where more people agree with him.

His talents will be missed but as Shatel and Sipple clearly stated, his qb acumen is not there...yet. Hopefully he can find a qb slot on a PAC12 team more suited to his size and speed. Notice that most of the transfer portal is filled with guys who are seeing a challenge / decline on the depth chart

If we still ran the option offense of the 90s, Luke could've been a decent QB, but it's clear he didn't have the arm strength or accuracy for the deep ball needed for the current offensive design. It would've been nice to keep him as a slot receiver. Obviously he wouldn't have been happy with that.

We're put in a position that if AM gets injured again or continues to underperform, we have the worst offense in the league again. Teams just put 9 on the line of scrimmage and dare us to pass. I have to question the competency of our QB coach.

You have to respect the young man's drive to be a QB but sometimes a person loses sight of the forest thru the trees. It was the coaches job to sell a longer term vision and help him recognize his "fit" with not only Div IA ball but with the NFL. That said, maybe he has other post college plans?

Hope he finds the right fit. The staff + coaches certainly believe they have the right to; so do the players.

What has changed or was different that would cause a player to want to go elsewhere? Is it a realization that things are not going to get better around you even if you have the talent and desire to be great? I felt like if he could be even moderately effective at QB he'd have plenty of opportunity

I am heartbroken. He is such a neat kid and I wanted to see him play for years and show what talent he really had. I really wish he would reconsider. He was much loved and respected by the fans here.

Given how talent depleted this team is and the strength of the conference and schedule, if this team could get to 6 wins it is successful. But that is a gigantic if.
