College football should be a celebration of youth and life. Turning the stadium into a graveyard is just (once again) making a buck off of die hard (pun intended) fans.

Better coverage. Some point they'll figure out how to use the cell phones to enhance the game day experience. Perhaps they could take food/drink orders via phone.

If it's going to cost NU $30 mil, our phones work fine enough as is. Watch the game & spend $ elsewhere. But, if Verizon, etc are flipping the bill and the athletic department has lease agreements lined up to make the school $ as claimed, I would have to say why not and move my vote to the yes side.

I go to watch a game, not chat with someone on my phone. It's just like the gym; waiting for a machine or weight stand while someone using said apparatus talks on their phone.

I'm sick of seeing people with their head down in their phone and living in a little bitty world of trivial nonsense. Be at the game or don't come to the game.

Why not? I often thought that I would like to have some of my ashes (just a tiny amount) spread on the field, and with natural turf coming, even better!
ReplyOther schools have this! Why not let Huskers stay life long fans if that's what they want to do!1
ReplyIf it makes people happy why not? We are crazy in love with our Huskers beyond any other program, so why not?
