The expense associated with drug addictions are huge. Treatment would be a good investment and a bargain in the long run

If our tax dollars are already going towards their prison expenses, we might as well pay for rehabilitation instead of continued incarceration.

People act in desperate ways when they're suffering from addiction. Treatment would likely reduce crime.

Either way you spend the money. Prison, where the person comes out to live in your community with skills you may wish they didn't learn while in prison. Or hopefully successful rehab.

Stop rewarding the screw ups. Drug and alcohol use is a chosen action.

Just the same usual amount. It's not much of a problem at Discovery Park, tho. Owners seem to have good control of their dogs.
