Most of our top officials are basing their decisions on incorrect and skewed data. Enforcement officers on the street know the truth because they are staring at it daily. Yet their input is ignored because it's not "science". Thus city, county, and state managers do not understand the severity.

Apparently not. And now it looks like they have made plans behind our backs to create 15 minute cities in Bend under a new name. To many decisions are being decided by councilors without the say or vote of the people. We need whole new leadership in Bend.

Not even exactly sure what the city is doing to address drugs issues, It sure isn't helping. Between the drug issues and homelessnes...ie, China Hat, sorry to say Bend is becoming more like Portland every day. Perhaps more public input and voting would help.

Wouldn't mind, it's quite quite a drive. Of course it would be hot.

We should all be in favor of anything that creates a safer community for all of us, regardless of political affiliation. Since our federal funds have been decreased, we need another form of revenue to supplement our fire fighting revenue.

These things have been voted on and approved by voters in the past already. This is just another example of hands out for $$ from property owners. I am against ANY new taxes on property owners. We are tapped out!! Tax alcohol, cigarettes, whatever else to make EVERYONE share in the pain.
