Most people already drive 75 MPH, at least. Trust the people.

A lot of people drive faster than the posted speed limit - 75 to 80 instead of 70. Increasing the speed limit will just push the actual travel rates higher - 80 to 85 instead of 75. With all of the heavy trucks on the road (some that drive slow), higher speeds are just dangerous.

Drivers are already driving 5 to 10 miles over the current limits so if it's increased I'm pretty sure they'll exceed the new limits.

These improvements are long overdue. People need to be patient and use alternative routes. I am stunned at how fast the construction is going. Impressive!

People need to be writing their state congressmen and complaining about these UM engineering computer graduates who take their laptops and hang out in left-wing coffee shops doing who knows what. That’s the real problem.

The people who come up with these “design ideas” are the same UM engineering school graduates who make obscene amount of money timing stoplights; people who are just a bunch of socially-awkward computer nerds who deserve to be thrown in mental wards instead of being allowed to go around freely.

I refuse to give credit to UM Engineering school engineers who work on this stuff.

the barrier wall in the median is obviously not high enough... traffic speed is much higher than the posted speed limit

Police allow speeds up to 75 mph way too much traffic for that. Need speed and lane restrictions for trucks. And I’m a truck driver saying that

Because no one obeys the speed limit we was traveling I-70 yesterday morning and speed says 60 and if you go 60 you will get hit so people was going 70 - 80 through the stretch that says 60 . Tractor trailers like to cut people off like they did us yesterday. They think they rule the road .

That stretch from stadium too Clark lane exit is very dangerous and deadly. People go too fast, and don't let people on. There is no room to just drive!

Too many dumb drivers that have no clue whose turn it is to go mixed with college kids that just got here for school and semi trucks that are just passing through. Add all of those together and what do you get? Decent amount of wrecks that's what.

So sounds like the people are the problem not the highway.

My son fell off the overpass by Midway and nearly lost his life back in January of 23. It's a miracle that he's not dead or paralyzed

The road is fine. People are the problem. Using phones and not paying attention to the road and the traffic is what is dangerous.

It's not the roads. It's uninformed and distracted motorists.

I see a lot of drivers who shouldn't be driving. It's like they are in their own little world.

The road dangerous? No. People texting, speeding, and general inattentiveness? That's the danger.
