When I was watching the sights and sounds of practice video, it sounded more like a pep rally then a training session.

I gave up our 4 season ticket a few years ago because of the deficiencies in the South Stadium and then they announced the renovations. Guess I made the right call afterall.

Far too expensive. Special seating for the rich is not fair to the majority of season ticket holders.

I don't think the half billion price tag to renovate a 100 year old stadium makes fiscal sense right now. There are also more economical ways to improve south stadium without completely tearing it down and displacing 22K fans for 2 years.

I think it is good to slow down the project and wait until we starting wiinning as then demand will significantly increase. Also wait until the economy is doing better and interest costs decrease. To me it is being good financial stewards of the Atheltic Department finances. Phases are good.

because I thought that this may not be a good time to be spending that much, when we haven't even finished the last project. I think our AD will have to be able to read the money people, and the times. I thought that Trev A couldn't live with that.

Alcohol will ruin the family environment. I love my Huskers, but may have to give up our season tickets if they ever start selling beer at Memorial Stadium.

100% - as a fan I would love to see a live practice. I would gladly pay for it. A wonderful experice AND helps buld NIL for future players. It's a NO Brainer!

ReplyGood idea...but it would be better to see a practice later on in the year...As a former HS coach...fans won't see much, a few drills and come spit a polish. They are not going to show much this early. Maybe the Friday before the Colorado game...still won't see much...but the atmosphere, crazy.
ReplyYes, but not enough to fill the coffers. We need someone like Warren Buffet to step up the the plate and establish an endowment that would be a difference maker.
