probably so, but what is sad is that we are celebrating last second so called miracles to beat Mcneese State and Northwestern,, that alone is embarrassing in my opinion but as long as we are part of the pathetic 10 conf I doubt we will see much improvement, the coaches we have are more into being "Hip" and fads than looking into real Nebraska football.. Nebraska needs it's Identity back and much of that identity was found in the fact that we were unique in what we did and we need that to stay near the top as we will NEVER get the very top talent year in and year out as the warmer weather states do, so our uniqueness would help keep us a top competitor.. just my thoughts

I would like to think we would have won in overtime but I hope this is a wake up call for the entire team that you have to bring it the entire game against EVERYONE!!

not the way we were playing, we were outplayed and out-coached, especially out coached since preparation is a function of the coaches more so then the players. I hope the coaches learned more than the players about mind set and preparation than the players did on this one.

Because we suck and our once proud program has now been relegated to debating cute nicknames and pondering whether or not we would have beaten an FCS opponent without the play of said nickname.

Less Fair catches. I can't believe all the fair Catches. Sometimes they're needed but when you've got room to catch and run... RUN SUCKA...RUN!!!

Seem like every returner always has 3-4 people in his face when he catches the ball.

We need to pressure the kicker. we never do and that kills us.

It all starts with blocking. Without better blocking, you could put Ameer back there and I'm not sure the results would be a whole lot better (but more of a chance he'd get hurt).

I think it is actually both. someone that is consistently able to catch the ball and is a breakaway threat, as well as better blocking so they have a chance to move the ball up field after the catch

I saw it coming, it shoulda been last year but never happened because of decimation due to injuries. This was what we were supposed to see last year. GO BIG RED!!!

Under Pelini it's best to expect little so not to be disappointed. Good surprise on offense. Special teams still needs a lot of work.

I expected a number of mental mistakes and turnovers. We saw a couple of mistakes on a couple drives but they go their focus back and those mistakes didn't kill the drive. Time will tell, but when you put up these sorts of numbers against a D1 team. Something is going the right direction.
