Sports pundits love to mock the Big Ten as a weak conference, especially compared to the SEC. I get very tired of hearing that.

Go B1G or go home.

In general yes, but I think there needs to be another category of yes, it depends who is playing. I will not be rooting for Nebraska or Michigan pretty much ever.

I like to see teams from the mid-west succeed. It will never happen but I would like to see the southern teams from the SEC occasionally play in mid west December weather.

As was said before the better all the teams do the better Iowa looks. Things like that do help in recruiting.

Always cheer for the B1G conference, especially the Hawkeyes! GO HAWKS!

Always pull for the Big 10 teams come bowl season. Conference prestige is important

For the most part, I want the B1G to perform well just to prove to the nation that we are indeed the best conference for football. However, Nebraska can eat a great big "cornhusk" if ya know what I mean.

It doesn't look good if we play in a weak conference, and we don't.

Big 10 Loyalist. Have been weary for decades of media hype about the SEC and PAC 10 "power teams." The coaches of the SEC and PAC are mercenaries and cheaters. I dislike Ohio State, Michigan, & Wisconsin, but always wish them well in bowl games...because Iowa beats them once in awhile(except(OSU).

Ultimately a strong, winning B1G is good for everyone in the conference. Rising tide lifts all boats blah blah you know the story. That being said, it has sure become tough to root for certain teams (oh hey Huskers).

Only on bowl games because I want to see the Big10 as a whole do well, but during the season HELL no!

Yes, but it really depends on who is playing. Overall, I tend to root for B1G teams overall, that is outside of the Huskers. :)

Good for the state. Keep on doing it.

Gives a chance for the biggest population base in the state to see all 4 of the state's D-1 basketball teams.

Because I live in Des Moines and it's an easy way to see two great basketball games that I wouldn't be able to see if they were true home games for any team.

I have friends that cheer for all four teams. Everyone gets to see their team play. We all get together and make a day out of it.

ive gone twice and enjoyed both times. i live in Des Moines and its hard to get out to Iowa City. I like the Big 4 Classic but wish the price would come down
