This is typical virtue signaling. If Climate Change only has negative effects, which hasn’t been proven, massive changes on nation state levels need to happen. Like replacing all coal fired plants with nuclear power. This local nonsense will not make one Iotas difference on global temperature.

When Oregon Schools become better than 46 in the nation then we can worry about an Idle free zone the whole education system in Oregon needs to be Overhauled.
Is the air quality that bad? Maybe you should worry more about the air quality for our kids in the summer when the forest service lets massive fires burn out of control for two months. That would likely do more then turning your car off.
Climates have been changing since God created the earth. China has and is channeling millions of dollars to climate activates, to make the U S more dependent on them and make us weaker reducing fossil fuel use which is totally wrong. We should not be chicken little's, the sky is not falling.

ReplyThis is a loaded question. If it means clearing out sick trees and fuels, creating fire breaks and logging and replanting, then yes. If it’s a hands off, nature takes its course method with massive fires burning out of control then no. Define what “protection” means.
