With global warming giving us hotter summers here, the long term drought, and then a whole bunch of precipitation recently - though not nearly enough to relieve the drought - I expect we'll have loads of vegetation growing, just waiting for a lightning strike or careless human to ignite.

Trees are part of the draw to Bend. I don't think enough credit is given to the fact that we have the ONLY juniper forest (real trees) in the world 🌎!

Best used to be called "Tree City USA", not so much anymore as developers "clear cut" huge parcels of land!

We don't need anymore liberal committees to control us. Oregon has become an extension of California. It seems people never learn.
