Perhaps as a compromise, the interest should be lowered to almost nothing, so they are paying back what they borrowed, but at a very low interest rate. Otherwise, if they can't pay it back, then don't borrow it. Go another direction. Apparently the career chosen isn't worth the money invested.

It was there choice to do so some children payed there way in school or you cane join the AIr Gard and get it paid.

Maybe allow it to be eligible to be included in bankruptcy, but make people accountable for it more than just cancelling it.
