Studded tires should be outlawed! They cause millions of dollars in road damage. They are noisy on pavement and they do not work that well,I know I used to use them. Today we have new rubber compound snow tires that get softer and more grip in cold. weather. Outlaw studded tires!

Dumb question. There are winter tires that are approved that are not studded and don't create ruts on the roads. We've used them for about 20 years driving in all winter conditions including Bachelor Mtn, freezing rain on both sides of the mountains without issue. Our winter tires went on Monday.

We're still a rural state with a low population (growing though). The traffic on I-15 between Idaho Falls and Pocatello is nowhere near the congestion that would justify widening the freeway.

I already do. I use it to buy my tags for all my vehicles. I get them in the mail in about 4 days which is amazing for the DMV

Doesn't this make it easier for people to cheat?
