The 2025 document, which took years to create, says it all. We are losing the rule of law and our rights under this administration. I believe Trump is a puppet for the far right conservatives who want to alter or destroy our democracy.

Trump won the popular vote. That's democracy. LOL He also won all six swing states, and 95% of the counties in the USA.

Where were these 'no kings' protests during the Obama/Biden admin? There was fascism and borderline dictatorship policies being pushed (green new deal, electric car mandates, gun confiscations, suppression of free speech, etc) and silence. Trump is not a king, so stop acting like a serf.

Democrats are insisting on concessions related to health care policy (specifically extending Affordable Care Act health insurance subsidies) to reopen the government. Republicans argue for a "clean" funding bill without these policy changes.

As every 8th grade Civics student knows, it takes 60 votes to end the Schumer Shutdown. Since we only have 53 Republicans, we must have a handful of Senate Democrats
"No one is so blind as one who will not see" means that a person who is unwilling to accept the truth is more difficult to convince than someone who is physically blind.
Trump is ending wars, getting hostages released, after nearly 2 years, while Schumer is holding the US taxpayers hostage, for free medical care for illegal aliens, while our own citizens have to pay for medical care.
Republicans could easily say yes to extending subsidies for Americans and no to the other provisions. If Dems say “no” then it’s on them. Not much compromising is going on.

I think if it were Obama, nothing would be said about it. I think just because it’s President Trump there is the hate that some have for him. Not this much controversy when all the other changes were done by other presidents. None of this is costing taxpayers as it has in the past.
