Are these weapons legal? Grenades and rocket launchers, also known as bazookas, are considered "destructive devices" by the National Firearms Act. They are also classified as firearms and are therefore legal with proper registration. A class III tax stamp would be required. Quit spewing lies.

Quit saying they want to take all your guns. That's completely false. Just trying to make it harder to get. You shouldn't be able to go to a gun show and walk out with a weapon able to mow down 20 people in the blink of an eye. Especially without any kind of background check, red flag, etc....

AR-15`s are the weapon of choice for mass shooters. There is a reason for this.

Where do you draw the line as to what you can own? I'm all for having someone own a pistol and a rifle for hunting. Pass the common sense forms of regulation first. The general public doesn't need guns made for mass slaughter.

A "well regulated Militia" doesn`t men we can have any type of armament that we want. You can`t have a bazooka or an RPG in your garage. (I hope!) Gun rights have to be based on common sense and public safety

Ammendments can be tweaked. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater. Or yell I have a bomb on a plane. Isnt that violating your first ammendment right? Why can't they change the 2nd ammendment saying no assault type weapons? I'm not saying ban all guns. Just put in common sense laws to get them.

There are 20,000 gun laws on the books. The National Rifle Association and other pro-gun groups have often cited the 20,000 gun laws that already exist on the books as reasons why more enforcement, not more legislation, is the answer to curb gun violence.

A solution to guns in schools is MORE guns?? How ignorant can you be? That will only bring about MORE bloodshed in schools. That's absolutely stupid. Why not just hand over guns to the students? More guns is never the right solution. Hate breeds hate. Ignorance breeds Ignorance.

I just checked and the pawn shops haven't had any AR-15's since Obama was elected in 2009. ROTFLOL. Are the Dems still repeating the lies, that guns can be bought at gun shows, without an ID, or a background check? The shooting yesterday in Columbia, was not done by a Conservative or an NRA member.

Jennifer, I would like a ban on Democrats. Why are you so hostile towards the US Constitution? When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have them. Criminals don't obey the laws now. What makes you think they would obey the laws, if law abiding people were defenseless? Democrats can't reason at all.

I too would like a ban on assault weapons, AR type, etc.... Why is there so much hostility on here? I've noticed there seems to be an awful lot of insults and derogatory comments on here and coming from the same people. Why can't people voice an opinion here without someone insulting them?
