Definitely Not. College players are amateurs preparing for the future scholastically and athletically. They are developing and learning competitiveness

Free tuition and spending money is pay enough. Supposedly, they are in college to prepare for their futures, and most won't be pro athletes for more than a year or so, if that.

In the Minors thre players want to make it to the bigs so they work to get there, they play pure baseball. They run out ground balls, pay attention to the game, listen to their coaches and mangers, and they play for the game. There are All Stars but no Self Centered Super Stars. They pay attention to the fans,take time to talk to fans and sign autographs and take pictures with fans even outside the gates after the game. I've seen them play catch with kids and give away balls, hats, gloves, etc.. They are humans and remember who their fans are. Show Less

I totally respect the minor leagues and enjoy the games. However, I tend to follow the major and it's easier to track the highlights, stats, etc.
