Perhaps as a compromise, the interest should be lowered to almost nothing, so they are paying back what they borrowed, but at a very low interest rate. Otherwise, if they can't pay it back, then don't borrow it. Go another direction. Apparently the career chosen isn't worth the money invested.

It was there choice to do so some children payed there way in school or you cane join the AIr Gard and get it paid.

We need to fix our higher education system, or we'll just get a new set of debtors who can't hope to pay.

Maybe allow it to be eligible to be included in bankruptcy, but make people accountable for it more than just cancelling it.

The idea is Orwellian. “Ministries of Truth” never advocate for truth, only for ideologies or agendas. They who said there was Russian collusion, that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation, and who want to secretly slip CRT into curricula, now wish to be the sole arbiters of “truth”. No.

If you don't want the likes of Donald Trump to have a cabinet level "Ministry of Truth," you should oppose Joe Biden's “Disinformation Governance Board.” Anyone with a sense of history, American or the world, should oppose the government with the power to censor its political enemies.
