Some fancy lawyer found a loophole in the way it was written, and we've been paying for it ever since. If the parents are NOT here LEGALLY, then their child should be a citizen of the country they lived in before sneaking into our country.

Because foreigners come here to have their babies for the anchor baby status

We are being taken advantage of as a country. People from Mexico come here to have their babies, so the baby will qualify for food stamps and welfare. Also, they won’t have to pay for their doctor and hospital bills. Also, if their baby has autism, they can apply for SSI and the baby will receivT

"Subject to the jurisdiction thereof" is the key phrase. Children of foreign diplomats born in the USA do not become citizens. It should be the same way for all foreigners who can just go to their home countries without any special permission like a US citizen under our jurisdiction would need.

The 14th Amendment was to protect the children of slaves, and no one other than the children of slaves.
