Bamas D is NOT better! I live in the south and believe me, their 2 main tests they failed miserably. Ole Miss and Fla rolled up all kinds of points and yardage on them. Bama feasted on a mostly weak SEC this year. They will lose this game. Take the points!

Genuinely surprised more people are taking the Buckeyes. I think Alabama is well coached with better athletes across the board. If Buckeyes can run on Bama there's a good chance they win. I'm not sure they can. But I am sure Bama can pass on OSU and that's dangerous. 38-31 Tide. Hope I'm wrong!

They are tuff to beat. Ohio may be more hungry which could be the difference. I just wish there was some new faces in the playoffs. I do not like either one of the two.

For no other reason than they are in the Big 10 and they were vocal supporters of Nebraska's desire to play this past fall. They supported us, so I support them.

I really like Justin Fields. Some conference pride. Also Ohio State helped Nebraska get the BigTen to play football. Alabama is probably better, but I am pulling for tOSU.

Need some conf pride here. Tired of seeing SEC and ACC winning this game. And besides, when we beat OSU next year in Lincoln, it will be a real feather in our hat!!! (Got to think positive)

Thinking positive doesn't make things happen. I hope the Buckeyes win but between having a banged up QB and facing the best offense in college football it's a tough task!

The SEC was pretty week this year top to bottom except for AL. They haven't faced a running attack or as balanced an offense as OSU. Nor have they faced a D this good, particularly the secondary. OSU 27 BAMA 24

Having only 2 losses as late as November 20 certainly qualifies for an A.

The talent is there, but the focus and subsequent execution isn’t there. Too many mistakes. And if I see another shotgun formation at the one yard line, I’m giving up and watching the LPGA.

Some decent progress on D. Offense clearly regressed from 18 and 19. Penalties and bonehead mistakes at crucial moments and inconsistent play on the O line continues to crush the O.

One part of the culture hasn't changed: Discipline. Until it does, we'll remain sub 500. Too many penalties, turnovers, coaching errors to win those close games. Talent gets us close, but discipline gets us wins D improved, O regressed wtout a WR who can spread the field & a QB who can pass long

There seems to be lack of development is many areas. Still too many penalties. Still losing the turnover battle. Still lacking progress in special teams. Still inefficient in the downfield passing game. Still little breakaway long runs. Frost must bring a winning season in 2021 or seat will get hot.

I am a Scott Frost supporter and believe he is the man for the job. However, I am not sure I can say that about all his assistants. Austin needs to produce results. Coach V is supposed to be a QB Guru but it has not translated to the field. I am confident Frost is the right man for the job.

I am surprised at the lack of progress. For all the advantages of being Nebraska and its football pedigree, why are schools like Cincinnati (and others like Liberty and Coastal Carolina) easily surpassing us? If it wasn't for Scott Frost I would make a change. But I love Scott Frost.

If the question was centered on Defense, I'd give that an A- or B+. I'm very encouraged by that but every bit of progress there was offset but an anemic offense. However, Martinez was much improved on the back half of the season outside of the Minny game. In total I'll give it a C.

Martinez was best as freshman coach need to match plays to talent and run some option football. How about the I Deidrick is a great fullback and Robison as I back would be a hell of a challenge.

Anyone who watched this season would know there was no progress, aside from possibly the defense. Offense and special teams were atrocious.

Atrocious is a bit harsh for special teams. Culp was an All Big 10 kicker. We were on our 2nd string punter to start and 3rd string the last few games. I'm not worried about special teams.

3-5. Ouch. They look like a team with little to no discipline. Penalties, turnovers, missed tackles, horrid special teams.

Overall a C. A year that has been nothing but endless strangeness along with awful (and I don't mean just football related) 2020 gave us an improved defense that made Chin and his assistants look like the best coaches on staff.

D+ HS level football is right. No discipline. We need a BIG running back, a BIG fullback. Wandel can't continue to take a beating; targeting, hands-to-the-face, holding. Either the receivers are slacking off and not knowing routes, or they are a discipline problem.

Some progress on defense but 3-5 doesnt warrant an A or B. Ended with a win but it included same issues. Those turnovers and penalties will get you beat 95% of the time.

Still seeing turnovers, penalties, special teams meltdowns, and some other usual suspects. The defense did look good at times, but consistency hasn’t entirely been established there. You have to hope there’s a future eruption just below the surface, but that’s been a long held hope.

One quality all great, or even good, defenses possess is the ability to pressure a quarterback. We very rarely made any QB sweat, giving them more than ample time to pick us apart (especially on 3rd downs).

Mistakes, penalties, fumbles, coaching, scheme and youth. I like Frost. Players are playing harder and more physical. Many of the players came from winning programs. Need that winning attitude. IA, NU, WI, IL, MN and OSU have that attitude and swagger when they play Nebraska.

The same mistakes in year 3, not a good look. Quarterback play is worse than ever. Offense scores less points than recent memory. Special teams woes, penalties.

You don't walk to the opposition's side of the ball to cheer your defense on. Clearly an attempt to get an illegal advantage. Iowa has already been penalized twice this year for that infraction. Didn't lose us the game but certainly reveals the character of the Iowa coaching staff.

I'm really on the border with this. This isn't the first time this happened at NU so maybe they should have learned from past era's mistakes. It is dirty though and should be penalized. It'd be similar a DL yelling things to try to get the center to snap early, they shouldn't be allowed to do that.

At first I was with enough with excuses. And I'm still that way and we need to take responsibility for things we control. But after watching, that is dirty and at the very least unprofessional. Makes Iowa look terrible and especially after Kirk goes after Nebraska and downplays it.

Come on man!! Figure it out, stop with all the reasons why there are countless mistakes. If its not a muffed punt, it's a missed block sack fumble, or its a bad holding call, personal foul, false start, Florida guy transferring, so on and so forth. Whiners are not winners. Be a winner, not a whiner

I agree dirty play should be penalized, but this has been going on for two years. During the final drive, I didn't have a great deal of confidence we would be able to score without one of the final snaps sailing wide. That is a sad statement to make.

If this coaching staff would finally held players accountable and the players held each other accountable this still would not be an allowable excuse, toughen the hell up. Since none of the accountability is occurring our Coach needs to shut up stop whining and do his job.

It’s not the first time that our center has had problems snapping. He been doing that for 3 seasons. At this point repetitions and ‘coaching’ won’t fix the issue. It is part of who he is and that won’t change. Maybe time for Jurgens to move to guard and find another player to mold into a center.

excuses is all i hear....people try to do this all the time. If he is having that much trouble lets move him out of the center pos. It is time to be quiet and now start winning. let your winning do the talking. If anything bring up that we have played over 370 def snaps and not one holding call!!!!!

I "kind of get the clap cadence" when there are full stadiums but there are no full stadiums. Go with a hardcount. Even the clapped cadence, I think it was Northwestern that said they knew when to shift on the d-line right before the snap to cause our o lineman confusion.
