Scott did this with the utmost respect for the Seals. The Seals live a standard to which he wants the Huskers to aspire. That's about as good as it gets. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

It will make the Huskers tougher, more disciplined, more capable of winning and better conditioned than their opponents. It will add to the win column and they will be able to block & tackle(!)

I've worked with Navy SEALS. Not one of them would have taken that video as a slap in the face. The blogger is full of BS.

It shows that men need to do the job 100% of the time and that cutting corners will lead them to inadequate results as a man in life and on the football field. Doesn’t say they are Navy Seals! C’mon!

If someone is offended by the mere fact that a former SEAL thought his brother's can be represented this way, then I suggest that offended person take that sand on the beach, and pack it.

i think it shows a respect and admiration to the SEAL community. The SEAL community is the greatest warriors of our military. Huskers training similarly, aiming to be the best in college FB. GBR

Former Marine. I see no disrespect. And Navy Seals do not exclusively own this type of training or frame of mind.

Shows massive respect to what navy seals do to prepare. No where did I hear they are better than seals. It shows hard work.. perseverance can get you to that elite level on the field and in life.

I am a retired veteran. Scott is trying to instill leadership into his team and players, to play as one. This has been lacking in the Husker football program for the past few years.

This is just a Wisconsin pansy crying because his team didn’t think of doing This. That a former Navy Seal didn’t think it a slap in the face by suggesting it, then it isn’t.

As a former Marine who has done a fair share of boat exercises, I didn't take it as disrespectful. They got a few hours of work in. We did that for years. It's good training and builds teamwork.

It may have offended Wisconsin fans and or anyone not wanting to see us grow as a team. The goals Frost and Co. are trying to achieve are so much bigger than football.

Calling it disrespectful is a joke. As a veteran of the Marine Corp I took it as a positive sign and respect to the Seals. Why do we listen to bloggers any way? Any hack with a computer is a blogger

That "well-known blogger, and rabid Wisconsin fan" failed to consider AND acknowledge.. a former Navy SEAL who is currently on NU's roster came up with the idea! I trust Frost & D Jackson's judgement

Navy Seals are the only ones goal oriented, focused, implement a work ethic and commit to excellence?

If I remember correctly, the guy who runs this training is a former SEAL himself and he does it for other sports teams too. It's a way to build bonds and foster greater teamwork.

That was out of respect on what they go through everything should strive to be in shape like the Seals

It's a leadership training course, nothing more, team building. Never once did they imply anything different.

I thought it honored the SEALs.

The Wisconsin blogger's account is totally homer (and he admits it!) but for Squareoffs to do this article is legitimizing a person who is not a legitimate "blogger". He is a tool and admits as much.

I observed no disrespect from anyone in the video. Special Operations units do not have patents on specific training. "Winey Wisky" fans are mad their team doesn't look as good as out land lock boys
