We should. Easier schedule. Good talent left from previous regime. Nice portal pickups. But in the last few years I've always felt optimistic only to have hopes dashed. So for now, I'm taking a cautious wait and see attitude.

Players look in better shape to finish games, which should help in some of the close ones NU has recently lost. Play calling should also improve. Let's not kid ourselves though, it will mostly rest on QB play. Jeff Sims must stay healthy! There just appears to be too much of a dropoff after him.

Matt Ruhle philosophy of training camps is complete opposite of Scott Frost. That’s why.

We were close in a lot of games the last two years. Better coaching and technique should make the difference.

NU has had enough talent to make a bowl game all 6 yrs they missed out, they were just the right coach away! I think Rhule is the difference & I see no reason they can't win 6 or 7 games, maybe 8! It will really boil down to team chemistry, can it gel that quickly? I think it will!

Should have qualified last season. They have the pieces, now the coaches topic it all together better.

The talent is/was there. The thing lacking was coaching > Culture, Discipline, better play calling, etc.

The majority of our losses the past few years were from a lack of discipline and attention to details. Coach Ruhl is all about both of those things.

I believe in the process that the coaches are instilling in the players and themselves to be the best you can be like Osborne and Devaney taught back in the day as well as being accountable one another! GO BIG RED TILL I DIE!!!!!!!!!!

Regardless of how we do against Minnesota, I think better coaching and accountability will get the Huskers over the hump.

Bowl games are not that hard to qualify for, which just shows how bad we've been lately. We can win half of our games.

Bill Douglas, I don't believe, MU football, builds or repairs, or has anything to do with city, county, or state roads and highways.

Doesn't matter. That money spent on those athletic facilities could and should be used instead to fix crumbling roads. MU grads who work for the state are always telling us "there's no money to fix roads", but they show up on Saturdays to watch football in a multi-million dollar stadium. Hypocrites!

All this money spent on athletic facilities at this school and all the MoDOT engineers who graduate from there keep telling us there's no money in the stat budget to fix the roads. Every single person who graduated from there needs to have their professional licenses and degrees revoked.

Cliffy is correct. MU football, nets about $6 million a year for the school, after all expenses.

The Football team and such is fully funded by themselves. I love when people make comments without educating themselves first. This is the problem with most people today, they don't educate themselves first, they just have a reaction.
