Excellent effort during a coaching transition. Riley and Co. held the class together and made it even better. Could have had a couple more with more time.
ReplyMost coaches hired at the end of the football season don't do as well as the fired coach in the prior year. Riley and staff did about the same as Pelini and staff last year.
ReplyIn only about 60 days they managed to hold on to most of their commits and identified and recruited 10 more that include some intriguing prospects. They also held on to 2 out of 3 that Harbaugh tried to poach. That's good work.
ReplyNebraska has always had a football that has risen above their recruiting class. This year it will be no different. Mike will develop his recruits and turn it in to a 4 and 5 star team, just as Nebraska has always done.
