What happened on January 6th was an assault on our democracy. The people who participated, encourage and support these type of activities haven't given up up on getting there way, despite all evidence to the contrary. Sadly, I think those fences will be there for a long time.

We have witnessed what happened in Kansas with such a plan and now they are doing it to Missouri.

Income tax is necessary in a state where people care about each...it funds necessary programs, like education. Our state lags behind most states when it comes to funding education and that hurts our future. To replace income tax with sales tax on services would be more expensive for everyone.

Income tax is socially responsible (the poor pay none or little; those who make more pay more) and dependably funds necessary services. If it is eliminated, sales taxes will SKYROCKET and we will ALL pay more in the long run, including those who can least afford it.
