None for me. Many people overdo them and they are permanent. In most professions, large tattoos are not professional. I understand they are an important part of Polynesian culture and that's fine.
Reply ReplyOne day, when you're older, you will dislike every single broken vein on your legs. And I saw one woman (wearing shorts and she was clearly in her 80's In the Dr's office. Her entire legs looked purple, Then I realized they were tattoos. EGADS.
Reply ReplyUnless you're sailor or a carny worker; inking up your body looks trashy and never ages well. The (black) ink will turn blue, and all ink will fade and spread; and that "tribal" tatt, tramp stamp or "meaninful" saying won't look so "amazing" later on on wrinkled old saggy skin.
Reply ReplyThis is a result of my religious beliefs. I believe in treating my body with respect and keeping it clean and unmarred, as much as possible.
Reply ReplyI don't care if people have them covered up, but seeing them disgusts me.
Reply ReplyI find tattoos to be very distasteful and unattractive When I see someone with a tattoo especially a woman it just takes away from her beauty in my opinion. From a religious aspect I prefer to keep my body unmarked and as clean as possible.
Reply ReplyIt sends a message we are not happy with who we are, the way God made us. I feel the same way about those wanting perfect teeth or noses, totally obliterating the 'family traits' that make them unique.

Why in the world should I care what's on someone else's body? Unless someone is trying to hold me down and give me one against my will, I don't care. Self-expression is the least of my worries.
ReplyNot your body, not really your business
ReplyI don't have any tattoos, & I don't plan on ever getting one but I don't judge people who have them. I actually think body art is fascinating. Just not for my body.
ReplyI love mine tho I only have one and swore the pain wasn't worth anymore. And I love them to a degree on men. I don't like him covered but if he wants them my only request is that you are still presentable for the office. NO fave hands neck for me.
ReplySome are great, others are downright ugly. Personally I won't get one but he, I don't judge.
ReplyI love tattoos, I have them. I believe that the work place is more accepting these days but you should also really consider what you are getting put on your body in visible areas.
ReplySome are very creative and beautiful.
ReplyI personally don't feel passionate enough (other than my kids) about anything to have something so permanent...plus as I age I don't want to have Dali art on my body.
ReplyIt's a harmless form of self expression.
ReplySome of them are gorgeous. Some are awful...it isnt my body
ReplyI can't think of any message important enough to me to have a tattoo. They're mainstream now and that's fine, just not for me.
ReplyTo each its own. Its not my body.
ReplyIt’s not my body, therefore not my business. Having tattoos are a way of expressing oneself and do not harm others, I have seen some I haven’t cared for and some that were very nice.
ReplyI, a female have 3 small ones that can be easily hidden but I have to admit, when I see females with a bunch of them and some very large and can't be hidden, I cringe. Males? too many = you just crave too much attention so I will pass, thank you next! lol
ReplyI got a few tattoos over 20 years ago. I have never regretted getting them. The trick is to get them in places where you can cover them up for work or show them off when you want without looking trashy. I am a female and recommend not to get a tramp stamp (lower back).
ReplyI love tattoos. I think it is a way to express yourself and show who you are. It's what you put on your body. It's your choice it's your body so do what you want.
ReplyI don't particularly care for the way "excessive" tattoos look, but it is an individual choice. I recently had a lovely butterfly tattooed on my chest. To date, I have not had anyone recoil in horror!
ReplyNot for me. But what other people do is their business.
ReplyI love tattoos and seeing other people's tattoos. It's crazy there's still so much taboo surrounding tattoos
ReplyI am 75. I got a tattoo when I was in my 40's. I still like it. Nothing big. I don't mind a little art on a body but am not for covering. I say that because at 75, mine is drooping and I imagine they all do if you live long enough lol.
ReplyI have one and planning second one
ReplyThey are not for me, but I appreciate the art form on some else. I think when people have them all over their neck and chest it goes from art form, to gangsta/Trashy.
ReplyIts art and its on you, not me
ReplyI have several tattoos myself, all can be hidden if need be for professional purposes. I think it's a means of expression.
ReplyFine for those who want them- I don’t want one.
ReplyLove the expressions
ReplyBecause I like tattoos
ReplyBecause i have 5, and i think if they are high quality they can ne very attractive
ReplyPersonally I don't care for one or two but it's a personal choice. To each their own.
