Commented "We came to town in 1989 and opened our store the day before Fred Meyer opened. This enabled me to raise a family when Bend was perfect with only 30,000 people. Mt. Bachelor would pick up kids at the elementary school & teach them how to ski. Time have changed & not for the better. We sold and left.
