Poor decision as it will result in farmers/ranchers paying much more in taxes with their minimal population base. The potential money from the County will be minimal and insufficient to support their governing needs and expenses.

This seems to be one man's project. Are the residents forming their own fire district or even meeting as a community, things that unincorporated communities do? Why change the name to something so bland? Sounds like he wants to build a waterless subdivision.

Much more expenses for the ranchers, farmers. Very destructive to the land and wildlife. In time just another liberal city with crime and homeless.

I am an educator at a community college and so I see first had the results of the K-12 system here and is is worse than, not good. Until the Bend-LaPine school district gets back to teaching, failing kids who need to fail in order to succeed, and producing results.
