Boycotting the pledge does not help anyone. It only shows total lack of respect for this country, our servicemen and women and ignorance of what the flag symbolizes. Very immature and childish.
Reply ReplyThere are MANY other ways of protesting. Boycotting the Pledge of Allegiance, or anything Patriotic is a sign of true disrespect for the Men and Women who have served this Great Nation.

Other than disagreeing with the added-in-the-1950s "under god" portion, it's a simple way to make one's sentiments known. It's patriotic.

ReplyAthletes who have knelt says this is not to disrespect our service members, but to demonstrate the lack of equality in this country. Apparently this is too hard for some to understand the difference.
