Already composting food waste with a worm box. Including shredded junk mail and paper. Too efficient to do it yourself!

Food waste goes into the compost bin. Grass clippings are spread on the garden. Other waste is burned to stop disease and pests.

It's just as easy as putting it in the trash, so there is no good reason not to.
ReplyPortland's been doing this for years. It works! I would gladly do this if Prineville would get on board. Good for Bend!
