I belong to a group that meets in the Brooks Room each month. We also used another room in December for a different event. I love that they offer these spaces at no charge.
Yes and it infuriates me the way things are all out of order. Had to walk through 3 isles of the same category to find the book I was looking for. There isn't any logic to it.
The library is a wonderful place. Yes, the internet has "everything" you might want, but our libraries need the support. At least go in to get movies. Borrow books, don't buy them! Read a magazine you might want to try.
The Oregon government and local police force has done a HORRIBLE job at keeping crime down, protecting cities, citizens and federal agents. If they can't do their job, TRUMP WILL.
Oh yeah, Trump did a great protecting when he incited the riot at the Capital on January 6th.
Then had the unmitigated gall to pardon his MAGA idots for their crimes.
What a guy...
Trump's a big man-baby...
needs to get his own house in order before sticking his nose in our business...and what's -her -name is just a mouthpiece...no original thought on anything...
I usually spend a number of days each month in the Portland area, including downtown.
Having worked in downtown Portland for many years, yes it's not what it once was. Having said that, it's definitely not a "war zone" and nothing like Trump and his minions would like you to think.
A bunch of crap from the Trump administration that hopes to incite a violent response that justifies the use of violence and military action. Illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional. Get them out!
Because the exaggeration of conditions in Portland, LA, memphis and Chicago is nowhere near the actual events. He and his henchpeople including traitor dereamer are only creating a reason to occupy american cities and attack the democrats.
It’s a very small minority that’s causing a problem and for the most part, the marches are
peaceful and none-combative. Portland’s problems, generally speaking; are the homeless sleeping on the streets and trashing the area, and not people marching in the streets.
Went today!! Go every 2-3 weeks!!
ReplyThe Spring River Special Road District uses the Sunriver library for public meetings at no cost. Thank you
