Becoming a union member saved my life and changed the direction of my life, being a single mom of two with no child support. I vigorously approve of unions.

My brief stint as a first line manager convinced me that workers need unions. I saw how upper management, in that setting, really wanted to treat workers.

I worked for a union and later belonged to a union. The downfall of America's middle class correlates directly with the downfall of unions, beginning at least 30 years ago.

I almost did one time though for cashiers at Fred Meyer in the 90s. My department voted it down thank God because no one could afford the union dues. They were crazy expensive.

The Oregon government and local police force has done a HORRIBLE job at keeping crime down, protecting cities, citizens and federal agents. If they can't do their job, TRUMP WILL.

Oh yeah, Trump did a great protecting when he incited the riot at the Capital on January 6th. Then had the unmitigated gall to pardon his MAGA idots for their crimes. What a guy...

I usually spend a number of days each month in the Portland area, including downtown. Having worked in downtown Portland for many years, yes it's not what it once was. Having said that, it's definitely not a "war zone" and nothing like Trump and his minions would like you to think.

A bunch of crap from the Trump administration that hopes to incite a violent response that justifies the use of violence and military action. Illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional. Get them out!

Because the exaggeration of conditions in Portland, LA, memphis and Chicago is nowhere near the actual events. He and his henchpeople including traitor dereamer are only creating a reason to occupy american cities and attack the democrats.

It’s a very small minority that’s causing a problem and for the most part, the marches are peaceful and none-combative. Portland’s problems, generally speaking; are the homeless sleeping on the streets and trashing the area, and not people marching in the streets.
