They've had an incentive to stay home. Just take the extra unemployment money away and then they have incentive to go back to work.

Government used tax payer money to encourage people to not work and now they want to use taxpayer money to bribe them to go to work? STUPID! Businesses should not have been forced to close in the first place.

People are to used to free money although it costs the working, tax paying citizens. Stop the incentives and they should and will go to work.

Just reduce the unemployment cash benefits and people will go back to work. It is suppose to be a "hand up" and not a "hand out".

I'm SICK and TIRED of businesses telling me they're sorry for the wait because they can't hire enough people to serve the public in a decent amount of time.the wait for any service out there is horrible and the ONLY REASON IS THAT THEY CAN'T FIND PEOPLE TO WORK BECAUSE THE $300WEEK UNEMPLOYMENT

Seems to me the businesses that need employees should do that.

Cut off unemployment and quit allowing people to rely on the government.

Implement livable wages with decent benefits and you'll be flooded with folks wanting to work for you. With the pandemic, they've learned that not working for sub-livable wages leaves them better off since they don't have to struggle to pay for transportation and child care.

I think pulling unemployment for people that have been on it for ages would be good enough incentive. There are 1000's of jobs out there right now. They would not have a problem finding one.

No incentives or government. Everybody should just do whatever they want to do without government managing any aspect of their lives. Drive as fast as you want on any side of the road you chose. Do it for freedom !

Beginning to look like the city wants to be a mini Portland. Not what Central Oregon is all about.

Piping the canals to conserve water is the logical next step. Where does Commissioner Adair think the wildlife got a drink before the canals were made over 100 years ago? I will admit reducing Junipers and reinvigorating our wild grasslands makes sense.

The canals were not put in as "water features" for people's backyards. Build your own water feature and pay for the water. This water is meant for agriculture.

Commission Adair, where do you think wildlife get water when irrigation water is off Oct-March? Please share your plan and funding strategy for removing 5 million juniper trees. What will happen to the wildlife that live in those trees. Your argument is weak.

Why do Bend residence have to accommodate Jefferson county. I'm sure someone up there can figure a way go pump the water they need out of Lake Billy Chinook

Wildlife has relied on these open canals for decades. There is no other option for critter water.
