Do you fail to follow your doctor's advice because he/she is trying to "control you"? Wake up.

Not governors place . Should be personal decision. Besides, do the math, less than 2/10 of 1 percent cases in Oregon . The government response is pure insanity and overstepping their authority.

I have a right to choose the risk I want to take! More people died in traffic accidents in Oregon last week. Are we going to eliminate driving because there is a greater risk than COVID? Nonsense!

I agree. And it should be same as if a vaccine is available. Those that want it can have it and those that don't want it, don't have to have it. HELLO???? That constitutes our rights.

It's strongly advised to wear a mask, but I don't think it should be illegal not to. You can always just walk away from people who aren't wearing masks if it makes you feel uncomfortable. If they persist, you can always call the police for them harassing you, not for them not wearing a mask.

You don't have the right to go around without a mask and risk my health, which is the purpose of the mask. It's not going to help you, it's helping the people around you.

You Do NOT have the right to put others at risk, which is what you are doing. Don't be so selfish.

You are wrong. It's her duty to protect the state from the virus. How hard is it to wear a mask to protect others in our community? Do you part.

Because it is a joke it is my right to wear or not wear. And some of us it causes more harm than it would ever help. And no one should dictate what we should do where our own health is concerned.

I respect the people around me and want to keep them healthy. It's not about me; it's about you. And it's the ONLY way we'll be able to open again.

I want to protect others and be ready to let children go back to school in September. We can only do that by not spreading the virus. Put on that mask properly!! It doesn't cost you anything.

The only way to defeat this virus is to all pull our weight. Those who refuse are making the problem worse.

It's a violation of my rights for other people to disregard the mask advisory/requirement. They are knowingly adding hazard to others.

If I wear a mask then I'm protecting you if I have Covid-19 and don't know it, yet. If you wear your mask, then you help to protect me. It's that simple. Thinking of others instead of just me.

Not wearing one sometimes actually inhibits the rights of others. When unmasked folks enter our business, some masked customers (particularly seniors) become anxious and feel they have to leave. :-(

Unless you have a health reason not to wear one, it’s got a purpose. If it was you or your grandmother who might die from this, shouldn’t you inconvenience yourself for a time?

The mask is a symbol of caring for our friends, neighbors, family and even those who refuse to make this small effort for our communal good.

A violation of my rights is having to think about other people's need to breathe. Especially other body parts.

Only a self-rightous, self-absorbed idiot would think an order to wear a mask against a deadly disease is a "violation of rights." Never heard anything more ridiculous!

Obviously, if kids who shouldn't be riding these bikes cannot ride them to school, that represents hours of the day that they won't be on them, being reckless, violating basic rules of the road, and putting lives, including theirs, in danger.
